Welcome to The Attic

Hello! I am Connor, welcome to my page! 𓆣
I draw creatures and people with animal makeup. I also draw post-ironic absurdist illustrations.

hello, my name is Connor and I am the owner of this website I am a fickle person/crow who is based somewhere in the us I don't know what I'm doing and I do not know where I am going I am currently a student at university and I live a fairly boring life that is uninteresting but simple, I am 21 years old and I think in visual communication. I am a male, please refer to me with solely masculine/gender neutral pronouns. I am fascinated by science technology and history and have an interest in hoarding pens
recently I have been enjoying making iced americanos, they are simple and basically water to me. I have an espresso machine at home where I make coffee very frequently. I am a very persistent caffeine junkie and I rely on it every day
I am incredibly mentally ill and I am EXTREMELY a hermit. I do not have many friends or an susceptible social life for that matter and I keep to myself as an introvert. as a hermit I can be a bit unknowing of things at time and I have terrible social cues, keep in mind that me not knowing something does not always mean I am being inherently malicious when talking to me please keep this in mind, I am terrible at reading tones especially online.
I have Bipolar I, this affects my productivity, motivation, and energy levels. My sleep schedule is never consistent, because of my mood disorder the way I create artwork is also affected.
I really like Mediterranean food and matcha I have a special interest in computers and I am vigorously attracted to them.
I have a spotify where you can view my music taste (it is broad)

FAQ 2024
"what programs do you use?"
procreate, clip studio paint, ms paint, toon squid, blender, obs
I use my ipad very frequently so I am often using procreate simply because it is convenient and I can produce art at a quicker pace. I use csp for more textured paintings on my pc, In terms of procreate, I prefer it because it is a lighter program and is very responsive, csp is a lot heavier on my ipad but I primarily use it for finished pieces and animating.
"what sketchbook do you use?"I am of the belief that you can make art out of anyyyyything! I primarily enjoy working in sketchbooks of all shapes and sizes, in terms of sketchbooks some favs are talens art creation, canson hardbound, leuchtturm, unbranded blank notebooks
I try to find cheap sketchbooks to use, talens is a good choice depending on where you get em I prefer thinner smoother paper that is cheap, I actually love drawing on printer and notebook paper a lot
"what pens do you use?"a huge majority of sketchbook drawings are primarily office pens, they are very cheap and very responsive though I use anything I can find, I love pens and I am a massive nerd for stationary and office supplies. some favorites of mine are the
- pilot hi-tec-c 0.3
- bic cristal
- pental rsvp
- sharpie s-gel
- uniball jetstream
use whatever works for you, but I really recommend the pens listed above! hell, just find any cheap ballpoint pen and just start drawing!
"do you take commissions?"no, not currently, I used to do commissions a lot more frequently in the past but I had gotten very burnt out, I didn't even get that many to begin with, also my artwork back then was piss-pore at best and I am very confused on what people saw in my work back then. I am currently very busy and I would like to occasionally open commissions in the future but with how I have really "fell off" on social media (cough instagram cough) I don't have much motivation to make a commission sheet. I remember the last time I attempted it was mainly just crickets but I DIGRESS, if you would like me to draw something for you, please pay me. I have a massive portfolio now this year (and my artwork has improved dramatically since last year) so its about time I made a new commission sheet that I can occasionally whip out (lol)
